There are some important things you need to know about Travel or Holiday Insurance
You should arrange this as soon as you have any travel arrangements booked and you might consider an annual policy if you travel more than once a year.
If you are travelling to any EU country you should obtain an E111 form from the Post Office. This gives you access to local national health treatment in member countries. However it does not provide for private treatment and you will still need insurance to cover luggage, cancellations and other items including personal liability.
Check with your travel agent first. Also we have listed below some sites of specialist insurers which seem to be competitively priced, but you should check what level of cover is provided. HotelAnywhere does not benefit from any of these schemes and we cannot accept any responsibility for arrangements you may choose to make with any of these companies.

You might also check with your credit card company, as many of these provide some cover if you purchase your travel arrangements using your card. It is a condition of booking that you have suitable travel insurance in place.
